MidAmerica’s specialists have distinguished themselves within our community and beyond as experts in the field of hand and upper extremity care. Our physicians are often requested to share their experience and expertise on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders and traumatic injuries of the upper extremity, as well as, topics specifically related to workers compensation such as independent medical evaluations, disability management and determination, causation, early return to work programs, cost containment and case management. Our certified hand therapists are also engaged to discuss topics related to hand therapy, as well as its importance as an adjunct to hand surgery both in non-operative and operative management.
We created our Speaker’s Forum to facilitate the process of scheduling presentations and seminars. At MidAmerica we believe that this will allow for a more direct and intimate connection with our physicians and to provide an opportunity to ask engaging questions and learn about their personal philosophies on medical and surgical management of upper extremity trauma and disorders and its effect on the outcomes of workers compensation claims.
Speaking engagements can be scheduled throughout the year either on-site, utilizing computer based webinar presentations or at MidAmerica’s Burr Ridge location which offers a scenic background and environment near the forest preserve.
All of our presentations have the ability for professionals to earn certification credits towards State of Illinois, professional society, and/or US government requirements.
Please contact our Speaker’s Forum coordinator to set up a convenient time and location for your presentation or click on the link below and your request will be forwarded to her. We look forward to meeting you and serving your needs.
