Taruna Madhav Crawford, MD

Dr. Madhav Crawford strives to treat her patients as family members, partnering with them to assess both specific conditions and their overall connection to bone and joint health. She specializes in the treatment of acute trauma, and has experience treating patients with industrial workplace injuries, sports injuries and fractures.She treats patients of all ages, including children. She treats conditions of the hand, elbow, and shoulder as well as hip, knee and ankle injuries. She is also experienced with complex reconstructive hand surgeries for arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and arthroscopy. She performs Independent Medical Examinations.

Outside the office, Dr. Madhav Crawford volunteer teaches anatomy to medical students at the University of Illinois at Chicago and presents to the health care community on current treatments in hand surgery and orthopaedics. She also has a special interest in health policy; in 2009-2010, she was one of three Washington Health Policy Fellows for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She speaks Spanish and Sindhi.
